1 Introduction

The website www.neetell.in (“Website”) is operated by Admission Guru Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India having its registered office at 311-312, Guruvidya Building, near Vodafone Gallery, opp. Bandra West Police Station, Bandra (West), Mumbai – 400050.

This privacy policy governs the Website and associated products (Plan My Preparation, Plan Edu Loan, Plan My Admission, Plan My Accommodation, Used Books) and services managed by www.neetell.in.

Through this Policy, NEETell intends to convey the manner in which the user’s information is collated and used by NEETell while providing services through the Website, associated products and applications. This Policy is binding on every user; users who do not agree with its terms should not use or access the Website, products, or applications.

Users are requested to read and understand this Policy carefully before using the Website, Products, applications and related services along with the Terms of Use. Your use of the Website or services signifies your acceptance of this Policy and your agreement to be legally bound by it, including any change made from time to time. NEETell reserves the right to refuse services to any user who does not accept or violates the terms of this Policy.

2 User Information

‘User Information’ includes personal information that can uniquely identify or contact a person — including name, email address, payment details, residential address, phone number, photograph, purchase or offer response information, application download/usage data, information entered while taking tests, and other data collected by NEETell to provide specific services. Users may choose not to provide User Information if they do not wish to avail the specific service for which such information is required.

If a user provides User Information on behalf of a corporation, company, institution, association or other entity, the user must be authorized to do so. Users should have completed 18 years of age and be competent to enter into a contract under Indian contract law. Users under 18 must access the Application or Website services through a legal guardian in accordance with applicable law.

NEETell collects information when creating a user account, browsing products, transacting an online purchase, uploading content, participating in offers/contests, availing gifts, or communicating with customer support by phone, email or otherwise.

NEETell receives, scrutinizes and stores User Information for security and technical reasons — such as IP address, login ID, email, password, device connection information, transaction history, date/time and duration of session.

NEETell automatically receives the URL of the website from which a user came and the site the user goes to when leaving. It also receives the IP address and browser type. NEETell may occasionally invite users to complete optional online surveys (e.g. contact info, ZIP code, age, income level).

Users can add or update User Information on a regular basis. When you update your details, NEETell will retain a copy of the prior version for its records.

NEETell may conduct periodic internal reviews of data and security measures and use software determined to be best for maintaining security. The internet is not an absolutely secure environment; complete security cannot be warranted.

The Website may link to other websites and advertisements. NEETell is in no way responsible for the privacy practices or content of such websites. Linked sites and advertisers are not necessarily under NEETell’s control and NEETell expressly disclaims liability associated with them. User Information resides in NEETell’s database for a certain period of time even after the user ceases to use or access the Website. In such cases NEETell shall not be liable for usage of the User Information thereafter.

Users agree and acknowledge that User Information collated through the Website, application or product could be processed in any other country across the world. For effective provision of services in respective territories — including outside India — User Information may be processed by trusted third parties.
